The calendula flower ("Calendula Officinalis"), also known as pot marigold, is widely used in skin care and wound healing. Because of its skin-friendly properties, calendula has been used in natural body care for centuries. Even the ancients knew the benefits of calendula flowers and use them in particular for the skin, as it improves skin quality and appearance. These qualities are still valuable today.
What is in Calendula Oil?
Calendula oil consists of oleanolic acid, lupeol, quercetin, alpha-amyrin and beta-amyrin. These ingredients have been proven to soothe the skin, provide antioxidant protection and are said to reduce irritation. An all-rounder for every age group, especially suitable for dry and stressed skin.
How is Calendula Oil made?
The calendula flower is native to warm and sunny regions such as southern Europe and parts of Asia. Our high-quality calendula care oil is a macerate made from the blossoms of the calendula flower. In addition, it is enriched with a sunflower macerate and thus has a powerful effect on the skin.
What can you use calendula oil for?
Calendula oil has many uses for you and your loved ones. It is particularly helpful for skin problems such as scars, acne or skin irritations by moisturizing and relieving skin irritations.
It can also be used as a massage oil or as a carrier oil for an oil blend. Recommended oils for the mixture are almond, jojoba or avocado oil.
Suitable for all skin types: especially dry and chapped skin (also for children's skin).

Application
Gently massage the calendula oil onto the desired skin area with circular movements.
In the evening before going to bed. Gently cleanse face with lukewarm water and pat dry. Then apply a few drops to the skin. It nourishes your skin overnight and leaves it feeling refreshed, nourished and repaired.
Important NOTE
Only suitable for external care use and for healthy skin. If you have sensitive skin, it is advisable to test the oil on a small area of skin first and observe the skin reaction.
